HELP - Cndn girl looking to move to the US

Hi,

I've been searching all over the internet about work visa's, work permits, EAD's it's giving me a massive headache.

I'm dating a US citizen for awhile now, I understand that there's nothing really he can do to help me, HOWEVER I DO have many family members living in the USA, would it be easier for me to find work and live in the USA, if they know that I have family in the states?

I do not have my bachelors/degree so I'm aware that I probably won't get sponsored by US employers, what are my options aside from marrying a US citizen, or applying for a green card at this moment because I know green card is a long process.

To summarize it, am I able to get a work permit/visa if i move to the states temporarily and would it be easy for me to get one having family in the US?
