Help! i lost my passport and citizenship cards.

Ok first of all i would like to thank anyone of you who would be willing to share information with me. My problem is this. I have a canadian citizenship and passport but i recently lost them both. Here is the catch. I have been living in the US for the past few years. Although i am not a Us citizen I am wondering how would i go about getting my canadian citizenship card (proof) and passport (proof) cards back? is it possible in my situation?

Don't panic.

Get in touch with your nearest Canadian embassy or consulate. Where in the US are you?

Just explain the situation and they will issue you the new card and passport. I'm not sure how long it takes, probably not more than a few days. You'll have to fill out a report about how you lost the items, if you think they were stolen, etc. If you do think they were stolen, you'll have to probably make a police report.
