HELP ME, Please! Fastest way to bring my bride to US?

i am a US citizen (living in Texas) who is mutually passionately in love with a lady in New Brunswick. We will be married this New Years Eve. We were both under the impression that when we get married, and have dual citizenship, that obtaining a passport (soon after?) and visa would be a rapid process.
But we are now hearing about 5, or more month delays for visa processing, and quite a lot of forms are needed, and again processed before she can come with me to the US.

Is There a Way to Short cut the delay in me bringing her back with me...to have her with me WHILE the various visas and forms are processed and approved??

Check out the k1--fiance visa forum--which is the fastest way to get to the USA, BUT that would mean cancelling ur wedding!! until after the interview! That route takes 6 months +

If ur already married, then ur looking at the CR-1 route which takes around a year!

It may allow one -- after some process -- to immigrate, and -- after some time in country -- allow one to apply for citizenship, but that's about all.

yep citizenship is a few yrs down the road. Many people assume one gets citizenship when u marry an American. but nope! Maybe it was like that many yrs ago, but sure isn't the case now!!

And YES you can stil visit while undergoing the Visa process--but its up to the port of entry (POE) officer!! SOOOO bring ties to Canada when u visit! ie lease agreement, return airfare, letter from employer that they are expecting u back on such a date! And even if one has concrete evidence, they can still deny you entry! Your going to VISIT!! Do not use the word "live or reside"!! Dont bring any job resumes with ya, in case you get set to secondary and inspected! And do NOT Lie!!!! many people have no problems visiting, but yes some do get denied entry! HUGE difference between a denied entry and being banned!!

One has to answer their questions properly without raising suspicion, not lying! Normally when I traveled to DC it went like this: POE dude asked business or pleasure---I stated Pleasure and returning on such a date, and that was that! I didnt add on anything else, kept it simple! Or they asked if I was visitng friends or family I Stated friends! If they poked further then i would say my Fiance! Of course when I was married when they asked friends or family I had to state family,lol. A lot has to do with how they perceive you! They are trained (some better than others,lol) in reading body language! If your all nervous and fidgety, they may think something is up! Be confident in your replies, look them in their eyes when you speak to them and be polite, yes sir, yes maam, is a good start!
