Help me please / Green Card

Hi, I need some help.
I’m currently living in Canada. My husband got the US green card for himself and the family (our kids and me), but because of his job he can’t move to US right now. It is possible that my kids and I can move first without him even though the green card is under his name?, we haven’t done the landing yet.

Another question, is it possible to have both, the Canadian permanent residence and the green card at the same time?

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can certainly move to US as soon as you want. In fact you all need to as soon as possible, so you going would be good.

If you have a Cdn PR, it is good for at least three years after leaving canada. You have both now, so obvioulsy it is possible, but not forever.

It would be best if you get Cdn citizenship before leaving if eligible.
