Wow Reba, what an experience you had.

I think in essence if you worry too much, things could really end up going the way you don't anticipate.

Visa Journey is very useful so I think (Vein) should use it for further inquiries in regards to marriage sponsorship. It will save you tons of money if you do it yourself!

So after a very long wait to get our marraige certificate almost 3 months! We finally have it and are now almost ready to send in our 130, but I have a few questions, Im going to be taking the train to canada just after the new year to see my wife and I am hoping to bring her back with me to stay for a month or so in the states, but we still have the problem that she has No ties to canada, Is it silly of us to think she will get over the border this time? Is it even worth the trouble to try?
And if so is there no other way that she can come home to the states for visits Now, instead of waiting till the visa is approved.
Also does it make any diffrence if its by air train or car?

by car would be the least expensive, if she is denied entry (which is likely I'm afraid if she has no ties to Canada), she will not be refunded airfare or train fare.

Plus absolutely pi$$ing off a trainload of passengers during the delay she will invariably cause.

Iv been looking at time lines for the CR-1 and the K-3, avg 334 days till interveiw for the CR-1 and avg 252 days till interveiw for the K-3 am I looking at the right dates for the most recent times. For some reason we had it in our head the visa would only take a few months.(wishful thinking I guess)
So I know youv all answered this question a billion times but,
If we go the K-3 way it will be more expensive in the end but How much sooner can i be with my husband becouse i just cant do 334 days without. Iv got myself very confused with all these diffrent visa'a and times.
So by my understanding a K-3 will get me into the states...in 252 days
While a CR-1 334 days

there are too many variables for us to be able to give you a definitive number of days. The only thing you can do is look at the processing times for the petitions, then look at the processing times for the visa interview, and take your best guess.
