Hello!
I am flying down to Hermosillo next weekend to have a look around and see if it's something for the family. Anyone from the site already in Hermosillo? I would like to find out more about the schools (elementary grades). I haven't found much on the internet about the schools. Any infos would be appreciated.

Just depends on where you would be living. the education system is based on private/public schools. While in Hermosillo, you can visit Colegio Larrea or Colegio Regis but there a few new schools.
