I binge - Hard.
It depends on where I land - When I got back to Victoria now, I binged on the local micro-brews (mmm Oatmeal Stout) at the Great Canadian Beer Festival here.
First meal is usually steak and seafood. What does it take to get a decent steak in Europe?
I buy magazines, mainly because they're in English and don't cost $15 an issue. I'll buy some books too.
I'll go to a Timmy's even though I'm not a fan of it (Don't beat me!

). That's gotta say something about their marketing if I never eat it until I'm away from it for a year or something.
I immediately look for a hockey game or news on tv.
And I go to a grocery store and buy all kinds of things I don't need and look for new products
I also engage in 'small talk'. I'm not a big small talker, but for the first couple weeks I always enjoy the novelty of knowing I can speak to someone (cashier, gas station guy, waiter) and that they'll actually understand what I'm saying and I don't have to butcher various other languages together to hopefully get what I'm asking for. Ahh good times
