We are going to Dubai to teach next year and are considering Australia after that. Is it difficult to get a teaching position?

It really depends on where you want to work, and what kind of work you're looking for.

They also need teachers in the really remote areas, which is where a lot of the new teachers start out. But if you want to work in a bigger city by the coast it's going to be more difficult.

They usually need substitue (relief) teachers, so you can get lots of work that way if you want it.

I am a teacher but I haven't yet started to look for work here because I'm at home with the kids. So I'm just passing along everything I've read about it.
