How hard is it to find a job in London nowadays?

I moved to Birmingham about a month ago with an honors degree in social science and a few other certifications. I finally found work in a bar about two weeks ago, its not the greatest but its at least something. I as well have a tier 5, it is REALLY hard to get work here. Best thing to do is devote 5 to 6 hours a day 6 days a week canvassing every place that is hiring or potentially hiring. You may have to start at the bottom and slowly work your way up.
