How long does it take to get a passport?

Indeed the website says it'll take up to 3 weeks to PROCESS your application. This does not count the time between their receipt of your application and the actual start of processing.

Arrggghhh.I mean "7 weeks to PROCESS."

Sorry to hear of your trials & tribulations...the guarantor is supposed to sign the photocopy of the supporting documents.

The pics are a drag. I hope mine is ok. I did them twice. If we already have had a passport, there is no point in going through so much trouble. No such thing as guarantor for US passports. It must be leftover of a British thing.

Yep, it has to sit in the mail room for about a week and a half before it gets delivered to someone's IN tray so that it can sit there for anther 2 weeks or so.

Got my passport last week! Took about 2.5+ months! I suppose it's fast compared to earlier this year.
