How long must I stay out of the US for?

I am planning to go down to the States for 6 months, I am not planning on working and have accomodations both here in Canada and in the States. My questions is how long upon return to Canada must I stay here before I can go back to the States?

The reason for my extended stay down in the States, is my boyfriend is American and I want to spend as much time possble with him, as we work through the process of obtaining a fiancee visa.

As stated many times on here it depends on the POE officer! Very Simply--if he/she thinks your spending more time in the USA, he can deny you entry! Simple as that! You as a Cdn have NO right to gain entry to the USA.

1 thing u NEVER want to do is LIE to a POE(port of entry) officer!! A simple denial can turn into a ban! Is it the end of the world? Not quite, but will add a LOT of time to your journey and you won't be allowed into the USA . Best of luck
