Hi all,

How do you go about finding companies that will sponsor you a visa? I'm getting a little restless from applying to job after job, but without knowing if they are even willing to sponsor their employees a visa.

Is there any resources out there for this?

Thanks in advance.

Start with foreign companies or companies that have a history of doing it, if you check on the USCIS website there are statistics somewhere of the companies who apply the most. In fact I think I saw them on wikipedia as well.

Hmm and I was right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L-1_visa

Actually it's not on the USCIS website, but the originating article is useful: http://www.informationweek.com/news/management/...ticleID=200000857

Apparently they are among the top for H-1B as well.

Looks like moving to India is the first step. Laughing

If a person is useful to the organization, they will offer sponsorship to the person irrespectively whether it had initially offered or not.

So instead of finding companies which can sponsor a person, it is a good idea (although very hard to do) to excel in your area of expertise to stand above the crowd.
