It's sunday night just before midnight & Aunt Flo (hurricane) is visiting.

Well I'm back ~ two days without hydro & one fridge/freezer full of grub gone.

We live on the north side of the rock & when the 'cane arrived from the south it wasn't too bad - just a lot of wind and minimal rain for us.
Then the storm passed to the north side & that's when my place was hit.
*bloop* the power went out around 2pm monday (frying a couple of hydro poles in the process) . needless to say, after several millions calls, we were "back online" this aft (wednesday).

The winds were approx. 80-90 knots & although there was lots of natural disaster (uprooted palm trees), no major structural damage nor injuries/loss of life occurred on the isle.

My fave is #20 ~ what a moron.
White-knuckle ride all the way!

Glad to hear you're well - They must know what they're doing with these hurricanes if nobody was really hurt or anything.

Those pictures are great! The guy on the bike is ridiculous
