Husband in US on H1B, want to buy house in Toronto

We have had our Canadian PR Cards for over a year now are finally ready to move to Toronto. We would like to buy a house directly and wondering what contraints we may face in getting a home loan in Canada as my husband currently works in the US on an H1B and we're Indian citizens. We'd like to move directly into a house.
