I-407?

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada with a US Green Card. I moved to the states with my family for almost 6 years to attend high school; I have not lived in the states for over 5 years because I left the US to come back to Canada to attend school.

I no longer want my US Green Card because I am going to stay in Canada for good, however I get hassled every time I cross the US boarder because I still have my US Green Card.

How do you surrender the US Green Card in order to travel between the US and Canada without being hassled.?

Do I just need to fill out a I-407 FORM?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
