I will be getting an L1B and I understand the L2 process for my husband.
I understand that after you get your L2 (I-94) you must file an I-765 form to get an EAD. After looking at the I-765 form I see it asks for a US address. We were planning not to actually move to the US until my husband has work as well.
Can he apply for the I-765 online while still living in Canada? Once he has the EAD he will start applying for work and if he gets a job we would consider moving to the US. Can we do it that way? Not sure we want to move without him having confirmed employment.

Use your employer's US address, if that makes it easier.
