Hello,
(Please understand that I am neither a lawyer, nor do I have any solid information to back the following up. This is just from personal experience, so take it with a pinch, or more, of salt)
It would depend on a lot of other things.such as your citizenship, what sort of work you are looking for etc.
If you are looking to work in a professional field (there is a list that I am not able to find that specifies what the different jobs are), you will need a
TN visa. This is the fastest way that I know how. H1 visas + Green card are long term solutions. For this you will need a university degree, certifications, an offer letter (appropriately worded).
TN Visas are same day arbitration, i.e., the Customs Officer will get your information and make a decision the same day.
But the key to going this route is that you need to have a job already lined up. Hope this helps a bit.
