Hi :

I have some questions for L2, TN :

If I am a canadian citizen and my spouse is L1B working in US, can I apply for TN visa ? If US immigration knows that my husband of L1 B status working in US, would my TN visa application get rejected? what If I apply for TN first, can I change to L2 later by applying for L2 visa?


- What if L1B's spouse apply for L2 visa first, can she change to TN status later if she can get a TN sponsorship?

-I am a canadian citizen looking for a pharmacist intern job. I have a canadian registered pharmacist licence and a bachelor pharmacy degree but no US pharmacist licence.

-What if I get hired as a US phamacist intern with a job title of pharmacist intern, am I qualified for TN visa?

-Do I have to get hired as a pharmacist with a job title of pharmacist before I am qualified for TN visa ?

-What if my employer wants to hire me to do pharmacist intern duties and I am given a job title of pharmacist, can I still apply for TN visa? However, what if I get challenged by the US border that I don't have a registered US pharmacist licence, then how should I respond?

-If L1B gets married before filing green card petition , and wants to add his spouse name as a secondary beneficiary of green card so that the couple can file green card together, would the L1's spouse automatically gain the green card status without labour certification when L1B's green card is approved?

- Does L1B's spouse need to maintain L2 status until L1 can add his spouse's name to file the green card application together ? What if the L1B spouse has lost her L2 status and has changed from L2 to H1B or TN , and L1B wants to add his spouse name to file green card together, would the L1B's spouse automatically gain the green card status when L1B's green card is approved?

- Does L2 have to go through labour certification before turning to green card if she is L1B's spouse? Can L2's labour certification be done by L1B's employer? or is it a must that L2 needs to go through labour certification through her own employer?

- If L1B just gets married, and his spouse has not submitted L2 application yet, can L1B's spouse still travel to visit L1B in US without travel restriction? Or should L1B's spouse wait till L2 application is approved before travelling to visit L1B again?


- What if L2 application is rejected, can I still try H1B or TN and can I still visit my L1B spouse in US?


-1. How long does it take to process L2 application? Would L2 have face to face interview at the Us border at the time of L2 application?

2. What other evidence I need to provide other than marriage certificate to apply for L2? ( any wedding invitation card, joint bank accounts, photo album? )
3. For L2 application, I am a canadian citizen and does it matter what kind of wedding to perform? how many people to witness our wedding? Can it be a destination wedding with only 2 witness?

3. If we go to city hall on one date to get married with only 2 witnesses, and a few months later we have wedding ceremony and banquet on a different date, does it matter that the wedding invitation card 's date is different from the date we get married in City hall with 2 witness? Would all these affect L2 application?
