I was given an infraction while driving in the states,,,but

it was a non criminal ticket but i ended paying it after a year,as a canadian driver license holder am i allowed to keep driving in the states or its suspended? im just wondering cause i paid it after a year.

another thinq i dont understand its once i checked my infraction in the system it shows a different DL # from my canadian DL,,,,WHY? I called the motor vehicle in the state of washington and they say that number doesnt exist,but im worry next time i drive and pull over by a cop,,PLEASE HELP

I can never figure out how it works, certain States have agreements with certain Provinces, so sometimes they know and sometimes they don't. If it's screwed up in their system I wouldn't worry about it, clearly they haven't got a clue what's going on. Had a similar experience when I got a ticket in Montana. No-one in Montana seems to be able to find a record of the ticket, it's bizarre.
