Hi Everyone,
I am hoping to get a little help on trying to Move to Oz. I am to old for a Working holiday Visa (I'm 31)
But any info that anyone can give me would be greatly appriciated. And I have a feeling I do not have accreddited skills, I have a Canadian and a British passport, so info on either Nationality would be great.

If you're wanting to immigrate to Australia then you've got to have something they want. What is it that you do?

You can look at all the visa options here:
http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm

It doesn't really matter what nationality you are so having a Canadian or British passport really doesn't help. Although it would mean your application wouldn't take as long to process as high risk countries (like India), and it would be easier to prove your english skills.

There is a visa wizard that might help you find the right visa:
http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/

Without knowing what you do for a living it's really hard to give any sort of advice.

To apply for a skilled visa you MUST have a job on the skilled occupation list (SOL).
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1121i.pdf

So have a look and see if your job is on the list. The next step is figuring out how many points you get and if you are eligible. The most common visa is the 175 which needs 120 points. If you don't have enough you might be able to go to a rural area in a specific state if you have the skills they need.

I'm not going into much more detail at this point because I don't know if your job is on the SOL. If it is then you can see if you meet the requirements of any of the visas.

If your job isn't on the SOL the only other way you can get there is to get some training and experience and then try to apply.
