IDLR VISA UK

Hello out there, is there any body who can answer a couple of question for me please,
I am due for to apply for Indefinate leave to remain in the uk, soon, I think the fees are around £800
question= after paying for this, will I have to pay again another fee
when the citizenship, come up 12 months later.

also do I need to have passed the life in the uk test, for IDLR.
i HAVE SAT THE VARIOUS ESOL COURCES 1 TO 4

but am due to give birth soon, and may not have time to sit the life in the uk test.
can you please help
