Sorry if the question has been already asked, but in the situation I would apply for a TN visa and that I would get denied, would I be still able to enter in the US the same day as a Canadian tourist for a maximum of 6 months per calendar year?

thank you

So I shouldn't take a risk to apply for a TN and I just go to the US with my 6 months?

I don't understand what you're asking. Why are you going to the US? If your intent is to work, you cannot work in the US as a visitor (B-2).

In the case they denied my TN visa, I want to be still able to visit all my family and friends in the US.

Legally it's possible but obviously if you've just had your TN-1 app refused then it's unlikely the CBP agent is going to let you in as a visitor, it's too suspicious. Especially if you say you're visiting for six months!

So if my TN visa application get denied, they would put a note on my file and any CBP officers would be able to see that? If yes, how long would it remain in my file?

Yes they would make a note in your file, and it will remain there until well after you're dead most likely.
