Import a motorcycle from Canada into the US

Hi Boardmembers,

I'm a new member of this community and want to say hello to all.
Is anyone of you familiar with the process to import a motorcycle from Canada into the US?

I want purchase a new motorcycle from a Canadian dealer in Calgary.
My research shows a lot of information but too much for me.
Any advice or support from you are really helpful.

You should be able to get a lot of info on this from the dealer you are buying the bike from, you'll need papers from them anyway, so if you're planning a purchase you should look into it then. My question to you is, if you don't already own the bike, why pay for it now and then have to import it with fees and such, when it might be available to you for purchase in the US?
