Importance of providing itinerary in WHM application (UK)

Post Sun Apr 20, 2008 8:01 pm

Hi!
I'm planning on submitting the online application for the WHM visa for the UK in the next few days and am worried about the importance of providing my itinerary as I don't really have one yet.my plans are kind of still up in the air. I know I will travel all summer but haven't decided where and haven't purchased any tickets (as it is all pretty dependant on whether my visa application will be approved or not).
Has anyone experienced any issues with not submitting this information? Do you think I should make some plans asap and indicate what they are?
Any advice would be appreciated. I'm afraid they'll decline my application if I tell them I don't really know what I'm doing. :)
Thanks!
Alison

Hi there, I applied through SWAP. They give you an outline of what to write on the application, including to write if i recall properly, to lit what countries you planned to visit. But I never had a full itinerary, and you are advised to wait until you are accepted to buy your flight tickets :) I was accepted after handing in just my proof of funds, printout of the online application (which swap submitted on my behalf), passport, passport photo, and had biometrics taken! So in short, i think no itinerary isn't important, just something you can add if you have it. At least in my experience :)
I liek caek! (guinness caek!) And men in kilts, RAWR!
