You can't get a Nevada DL as a seasonal resident. I think you can register a vehicle there but you'd have to check State law, failing that bring it back to Canada, register it here and then drive it back down.

The real problem is going to be the insurance, because insurance agents generally don't like insuring vehicles when the registered owner has a foreign DL.
