OK, here it is basically:
I am in China and I WAS teaching ESL until I quit. Now, my visa was for one month (I was supposed to be getting a Z 6 month one but it never happened). My boss told me that he would give it to the Police and they would renew it. I was told Wensday-now Friday and they still owe me money and basically I have no confidence in getting my passport back from the Police.
I phoned the British embassy (I am a dual national) and requested a new passport-they can't without a police letter. I then phoned OUR embassy and they say they cannot help because I came here on a British passport! I guess I will have to wait till Friday but I was hoping someone may have an idea?
