Hi Everybody,
I'm a Canadian on my 90 day max visit in Italy. I would like to do a quick visit over to Switzerland before I head back home. The problem is I heard that at the Swiss/Italian border they give non-EU citizens a hard time. Anyone experienced??? Let me know!

I doubt it's a problem - Last time I crossed it was no problem, but that was through France.

I'd be very surprised if you had any trouble. The only thing is that I'm pretty sure you're only allowed in Italy for 90 days within 180 days, so you can't just cross over every 90 days. You might wanna double check with the Italian embassy.
