In love with an American

Hi Everyone!
I recently fell in love with an American but live in Canada and would like to know where to start because i have absolutely NO idea?? There is potential for marriage, but not immediately. I would think at least a year? What can i do until we decide to get married? Also, i heard its not all easy peasy to get a green card after marrying an American, is that true?

Looks daunting but isnt!! paperwork isnt that bad, its just the waiting that kills ya! and YES on ecan still visit the usa while the paperwork is going thru, BUT its up to the Port of entry (POE) officer! So bring ties to Canada (letter from employer, retrun airfar_ anyhtign that sort of proves that ur returning to canada!
