In Need of Visa Info..

Hey.

I have been to Germany 3 times now because my gf lives and goes to Uni there. I have an option, provided by her parents, to move there so I can continue my education, which they wish to pay for.

They are willing to cover my entire stay for 3 years, but honestly I don't want their money.

In order for me to go to school there or work I need to learn German first. I need a Visa that will entitle me to do both work and language school so I can at least pay my share. When I have grasped enough of the language I will be going to school for as long as it takes.

Will a Student Visa do that for me? Can you hold a Job while using a Student Visa or should I be looking somewhere else. I know about the YMA but can I go to school too with that? I am not thinking so.
