Hiya
I keep trying to find my answer everywhere but i can't even get Inland Revenue to tell me what to do about it.
I'm currently living in Nottingham, UK. I've been on a working holidaymaker visa for more than a year now and I worked 10 months (june-april).
I have the intention to go back to Canada. I currently sent a sponsorship application to Mississauga to sponsor my fiance. I did not fill a form of non residency to Canada since my intentions always were to come back.
Now I need to finish filling those applications. Strangely enough, my mom does them and she works for Revenue Quebec and DOES NOT know the answer to these questions.
1. Will HMRC consider me on their document as a resident?!? My understanding is no since I'm here on a short-term immigration visa.
2. Should my income tax declaration in Quebec and Canada both be filled in as normal and my p60 forwarded to them as soon as I receive it to confirm the income I've made?
3. Is there anything special that I need to provide to them, and UK, regarding my form?
4. Finally, I've worked for a independent commission that was though funded by the Department of Health. Which type of worker will I be considered? The commission has been abolished since march so hard to reach anyone really.
Thanx for the quick answers.
