I have lived in the UK for many years - renewing my Canadian passport every five years. This time- on coming through immigration - I was told it would cost £500 to get the Indefinite Leave stamp in my new passport. Usually I just bring the old one the first time and they write ILE in the new one, as has been done this time too. Does anyone know if I need to get a stamp too? £500 is alot of dosh!!
