Hi everyone,

My name is Terri and I'm from Toronto. I've lived in Hong Kong before, but I'm currently residing in Toronto. There's no place like home.

Right now, I'm doing a marketing internship at a Toronto-based market research company, but I look to working outside of Canada in the near future. Hoping to be able to find valuable information on this website as well as provide useful tips from my own experiences.

I also love to travel and eat. So there's a little tidbit about myself.

does anyone know about the cultural differences between toronto canada and kyiv ukraine ?

Just found this site today so let me introduce myself. Name is Heather and am originally from Lindsay, Bowmanville, Belleville, Ontario (can't choose which of them I spent the most time in cuz I'm a bit of a gypsy!) In '97, I packed up kids (aged 2,7,and 9) and Cdn hubby (now ex thank god) and moved to Isla Margarita, Venezuela (leaving hubby number one behind). Feb '99 left Venezuela and headed for a 4 year stint in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (where I married my next/current hubby), got bored so headed for Aruba for a 4 year vacation, missed home so I moved back to Belleville, Ontario for 2 years and now have been (so far) one year back in Dordrecht in the Netherlands. Kids are all fluent in 5 languages (all different from each other too!) and all have seemed to have adapted my gypsy lifestyle. World wandering is definitely a fantastic hobby! I'm Sam, i've lived in Edmonton all my life and i'm hopefully going to be going to Ireland in the next few months here, as long as i keep saving my money

I am from Ghana and father a US citizen he disable he is benefiting from medicare and medicard. He is getting his SSI as well. I want to move him to Ghana since I do not want to send him to the nursing home. He has been in USA for 30 year and in active work for 26 years. He is now 63 but disable.

I want to know if he will still get these benefits if he move to Ghana his national orgine. Your response will be a great help as it will enable me make prodent decision.

Was born and bred in Toronto, parents are West Indian. They migrated to Canada at a time when one could apply for their own papers...

I love Toronto. but left because I truly felt there was more for my husband and I in Florida. We love it and hopefully we'll get the opportunity to settle here.
