hey all! i just discovered this forum, no doubt it will be extremely helpful for my future travels ... i'm Sarah and i grew up in Winnipeg (but i've lived many places, Toronto, Belleville, Victoria, Moose Jaw, Regina, Chilliwack, and a couple other small army bases) ... i'm living in the Netherlands right now, working as an au pair for a wonderful family. this is my first time living abroad, and although i miss everything about home, i'm thoroughly enjoying my time here. i'm heading back to Canada at the end of July, but am already investigating other options for living abroad! so if you're in Holland or have any advice or suggestions for future travel opportunities, drop me a line!
cheers and beers folks

Hi everyone,
I found this site and joined up yesterday. I really wish I knew of this site before I accepted a job in the US. Many of the questions and responses I've read tell me all too well, it's not the best situation to jump into lightly. I lost my job recently because "I wasn't a good fit" and now stuck with a whole pile of questions and stress.

Hey everyone,

I'm Hana, I'm English and currently living in the UK. I have been to Toronto Canada and Ottowa and LOVED them! I hope to move there in a few years so thought i would join this forum for advice!

I love design and photography, anyone know what job opportunities for design are like in Canada (Toronto mainly)...

I love to snowboard, surf and dive! well that's me...

Hi there!!
I would like to classify myself as a "travel virgin". I initially started here to see what I can learn about travelling and to see what not to do while gone. And, like everyone else here, post some travel experiences that I will eventually have.
My name is Diane and I am from Abbotsford, BC, in Canada, originally from Richmond, BC, both just outside of Vancouver, BC. I've had the travel bug for as long as I can remember, but things came up and never had the chance to go until recently.
Nice to meet everyone.............
Diane

We are two seniors living in Ottawa since 1984 having move here from Ct. We are planning to move to Charleston SC in 6 months or so. How can we find out what the tax implications will be. T
