Hello hello!

My name is Anne and I'm from the wonderful city of Ottawa, Ontario. I've previously lived in the Glasgow, Scotland area so if you have any questions about Scotland, I'm your lady! :-) I'm planning to get to the States. somehow. but have been having issues figuring out how on earth to get a green card. So if you have any info on your experiences with this, please let me know! Not much else to me!

Hiya from Toronto on my way back to work and live in Florida.

I spent 2 years there 3 years ago andcouldn't wait to get back to Canada. now I am planning to go back again ?

I am trying to get info re retiring in florida as to SS , medicare. pros and cons.

I have an H1B visa that needs to be renewed. nd really sharing my head at the whole thing.

Can anyone give me a heads up on what its like now for a Canadian to live in USA after retiring?

Thanks a bunch !

Hi first day on here! Nice site. I am currently living in Canada but it looks like my hubby's work will be taking us to Moscow. Really looking forward to it. If anyone has any Moscow info for us it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Prairiegirl

Hey :)

I'm David, originally from Montreal, did a student exchange in Grenoble, France for my last university semester in 2005. I loved it. now I'm in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany for 6 months and I'm planning on staying in Germany for some time. I would love to move to Berlin since my girlfriend lives there.

Everyone feel free to contact me to chat, talk or even if you wanna take a beer if you are near.

See ya

David

Hi there

I moved to Germany in Jul 05 and now live in Belgium (not far from Brussels). What a difference between the two countries!

I absolutely love to travel and do it as much as possible. There is always something to do (markets, hiking, biking) - I don't think I've ever been bored since we've moved here. And despite the incredible amount of wine, cheese & chocolate, I manage to keep in shape (so I can indulge in MORE of this stuff). Has anyone else had the opportunity to do wine tasting/champagne tasting tours?

I do miss a few things about Canada but once you get used to live here, it's harder to remember those things. But, if you've ever driven in Belgium, you would understand that I am looking forward to driving on a REAL hi-way with somewhat sane drivers! I will have a hard time going back to North American restaurants though where they throw the bill at you and rush you out once you finish the last bite on your plate. And the wine here. fabulous.

If anyone wants travel tips for Belgium (I know it's not the most beautiful place in the world but it does have alot to offer), let me know.

C.
