You didn't do EB1 Reba. EB1 is a whole different ballgame.

Marriage-based processs is designed to be easy(er), so that anyone can do it.

The $1000 is for CIS premium processing of the I-140, drem. Been around for years. It's legit. EB1's can be done in weeks.

OK it wasn't worded correctly so I misinterpreted it. However I agree that the EB1 process is not as "simple" as white on rice.

I watched a program on TV about a musician from Egypt I believe who was nationally recognized from his country and surrounding countries. He told his story on air regarding the EB1 process and he said it was a tough process. Immigration kept asking for more proof that he was "extraordinary" with newspaper articles, awards, prizes, etc, etc..

He was approved after all the hoopla so it payed off...

Eh, I agree with the fact that EB1 (especially from what I parse from our poster's story) will be difficult. But Remember he says he has every single one of the 10 quals for EB1

But $1000 for Premum processing is legit and will speed up the process -- maybe even speed up the denial.
