It is possible to get a TN visa with an american spouse!

Hi - just got my TN visa today even with an American spouse and children.

I was only asked one regarding my husband and that was if we had any spousal applications submitted.

It was a bit difficult to find info about this scenario in regards to a TN visa so I thought I'd post this for future applicants.

The whole process took about 15 minutes - plus about 10 min each way to walk across the bridge...

Good for you. You were lucky.

Beware that next each time you re-enter US on TN, especially if together with him and doubly so if he is living in US at that time, you risk denial.

In your position, I would be applying for GC pretty soon if you like this job and plan to keep it awhile.

I will keep that in mind - We drove across almost a week ago now - all 3 American passports and my Canadian passport - after explaining I was going to work on TN and my family was coming too they asked if we had any fruit and let us drive over without any delay.
