Italy - passport expiry 4 months past travel

Just wondering if I need to get a new passport if it is expiring in August and we are travelling in April? I have heard some countries are requiring this - anyone know about Italy?

Hey there,

As a general rule, most countries require you have at least 6 months left on your passport before travelling. Just to be safe, I'd get it renewed. I have to get mine renewed this month too!
