Jamaican grandparents

Post Mon Apr 26, 2010 3:27 pm

Hi again,

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. My grandparents were born in Jamaica, long before it became independent in 1965. Their birth certificates (according to my parents) indicate that they were considered British citizens. I believe that today they'd be defined as British subjects since they never actually lived in Britain.

Does anyone here know if that would still qualify me for the ancestry visa?

Thanks in advance :)
