Job hunting experience in the US

Hi,

As a follow up question, I would like to know of people's experiences with the go-between recruiting companies. I have heard of cases where people might be working for company A but will be employees of the recruiting companies, at least initially. A person can be on the recruiting company's payroll as well as their TN-1.
