Archos needs a Community Manager to handle its international websites.

Archos, a French company created in 1988, is one of the leaders of consumer electronic entertainment market. First multimedia mobile solution "all in one" to be hold in the palm of a hand, Archos products can be connected to any High-Tech devices: computer, television, video recorder, digital camera, mobile phone... They also enable you to travel with your TV as you would with a portable video player and answer the needs of a multimedia market in full evolution. Within the context of its development, Archos is looking for its Community Manager.

Mission:
Within the web team of the Marketing department and with a direct report to the Central Marketing Manager, you are in charge of the bilingual animation of the Archos website and of the development of "web community communication" in France, in England and in the US. You lead the virtual communities of French and Anglo Saxon speaking users, the internal and external forums of the web. You contribute to the online editorial content and to the presentation of the products on internet. You work in close collaboration with the French, English and American teams.

Profile:
English mother tongue or Anglo Saxon bicultural, with a bachelor or a master degree, you have four to five years of experience in web community animation, sysop, moderator, "technical evangelist" or editorial manager in a international environment (consumer electronic, internet, Multimedia, games, Telco, Linux community). Technology fan, pedagogue, you can talk as easily with experts than beginners. Creativity and diplomatic qualities are requested.
