Job opportunities in Denmark

Post Sat Nov 11, 2006 12:34 pm

I just heard that there is a strong demand for employees in Denmark I just wanted to know if that's true and how difficult would it be for a Canadian that isn't part of the EU Union to get a job as well as a work permit?

Thanks

I'm kinda surprised to hear that! Last I heard, Denmark had one of the toughest immigration laws in the EU, heavily restricting companies from bringing in foreigners to work.

I'd check with the Danish embassy about what they require.I'd imagine it's pretty difficult. Elsewhere in Europe should be easier though.

Work permit

dude, I don't want to discourage you from working in Dk but it is next to impossible to obtain a work permit without first obtaining your registration card. Unless you are highly educated working in a specialized field of work you may find it easier to find something in Sweden. Good luck, though!
