Job Waiting For Me In Paris

Postby mayeli » Thu Feb 05, 2009 10:52 pm

I have a job opportunity in Paris as a au pair. It's with my aunt's friend who has 3 kids (7yo girl and 14yo twin boys). They live just outside Paris and the parents are both very busy with work right now. I would get my flight paid for, live with them (so living expenses are covered), and get paid(not sure how much yet). I'm graduating this summer and I don't plan on going to school yet and I have no idea what to do. I would have the whole day off to do whatever I want until 3pm when I would pick the kids up at school and then just take care of them for 4-5 hours till the mom comes home and she would make dinner. I can come home whenever I want if I don't like it or just miss home. Should I take the job? If I do, what other job can I get in Paris to fill a few mornings/nights. I have a German passport so I don't have to get a work visa (or do I?). I Speak English and Spanish fluently....

Hi!
Don’t take me otherwise, I am giving you advice as a friend. The job you referring is not up to your standard. Sometime things seems rosy at the starting but in real you find them different. You can take on this job for a short period but not for longer period. It is better to try more opportunities on the job portals. In your spare time, you may join online tutoring company to give online tuition.
