K1 Contacting Question

I currently have a K1 pending, and recently received a letter of missing biographic info. No problem.

I am wondering for those of you who HAVE had K1's processed, if USCIS contacts family or employers to find out information on you during the processing.

My reason being is that I haven't told my parents (YET) that I am marrying and moving.

Any info would be appreciated.

have never heard of them contacting family members. Check out http://www.visajourney.com/forums/ oodles of info regarding K1 visas on there

I've never heard of them contacting Canadian families, but have read at VJ of them contacting family if the person is from like India or Iran or some such.

Just send them whatever they asked for on the RFE, and make sure its complete.
