landed immigrant wants to go to mexico

im trying to figure out what credentials i need to travel by air to mexico from canada, i moved to canada from the u.k. and i have canadian landed immigrant status since 1976, i still have my u.k. passport which expired in 1986. can i renew my british passport and use that fro travel or do i need to do something else? any info would be appreciated thanks jacqs

Travelling to Mexico with a UK passport is relatively easy, unless things changed a year or so ago.
You will get a tourist visa on your arrival.
