laundromats in sousse, tunisia?

Hey all,
We're living in Sousse, Tunisia and so far have not come across anywhere that we can do our laundry. Are there laundromats we're just not seeing? How do people get their laundry done here?
Thanks.

Interesting question -- we just had a washing machine and most of the families I knew there did as well. Come to think of it in the year I lived there I never saw a laundry mat (though I never specifically looked for one). There is always the hand wash option (though pretty time consuming) and of course people just hang to dry (certainly never saw a clothes dryer.) But in the summer that happens in minutes.
Let me talk to a few friends still there and get back to you on this.

Just a note: if you are there in the winter -- make sure your clothes are totally dry when you put them away -- Anything even remotely damp with stay damp and get stinky because there is such high humidity in the winter.

Happy Washing!

thanks Allyssa. We've given the hand-washing thing a shot, but our tiny kitchen sink is too small for anything larger than a t-shirt, and we have pretty limited window space for drying things. I tried washing a blanket, got the entire apartment wet and eclipsed the sun from our apartment for two days trying to dry it.
Thanks again.

Sorry about that. I just got in touch with some friends out there and they said they have seen plenty of dry cleaners, but not laudromats. If I hear from any friends right in Sousse about this, I'll let you know.
