Live in Italy?

How can one arrive in Italy on a Canadian tourist passport and stay longer than 90 days - legally? (I do not have a contract for work or Italian heritage - just a love for the country!)

Good question!

You should be able to extend the visa for an additional 90 days if you have proof of funds (so they don't think you're gonna live off the system).

In the meantime, I'd suggest getting the paper work started to get a more permanent visa.

Good luck!

Hello.what do you mean by "a more permanent visa"? What kind of paperwork are you referring to? Thanks for your info.
