Sorry to say, but I don't think having a baby here will give you the right to work here.
If that was so do you know how many babies from East-Bloc countries would be born here.

hello cannuck married to a kraut!
you've been allowed to work as soon as you got married to a german! check out what is says on your visa in your passport. it should say that you are allowed to work with the exception of starting your own business (selbständige tätigkeit). it it doesn't say so, you should immediately check with the meldeamt.
