Living in the Gap in Brisbane

Hello, my name is Danielle. We are moving to the gap in mid November for four years while my husband is in medical school. We are starting to feel pretty nervous and excited about our big adventure! I have two children, Matthew is 4 yrs, and Grace is 2. It would be wonderful to get together and commiserate on our time in a new country! We are from Victoria BC. We are still in the process of finding a house to rent... We arrive in Brisbane on Nov 18th.

First time mom, just moved from Vancouver BC 2weeks ago, I have a 1yr old boy and looking to link up with moms for all sorts of activities? Any ideas suggestion would be welcome.

In Vancouver we had mommy meets weekly, having coffee, swimming with the babies,playdates when the weather held up on the swings and so forth.....
