Living on the Baja

Post Sun Jul 20, 2008 1:29 pm

A friend sent me this site today - thanks Jim! I drove from Canada to the Baja a few months ago - it was -35 degrees when I left. I contacted the local Cdn. Consulate to ask about an expat group in the area - seems that there isn't one. I would be pleased to connect with any Cdns in the area.

My wife and I are moving there in Sept. and we'll be joining friends of ours already there. We'll be in San Bruno so it's a good poke away from you, about halfway down but maybe we can book a crazy canuck party somewhere.
regards, Capt. Kenny

Thanks for your reply! Yes, you will be a good distance away, but perhaps there will be an opportunity to meet in future. Which part of Canada are you moving from? Are you driving or flying?

Greetings fellow Canucks,

My name is James currently working in Vancouver but am interested in moving back to Baja where I had previously been working for 2 years. Anyone have any ideas on where to start looking for work? Recruiters/headhunters? Would appreciate any help or advice I could get. Take care all.
