Locating Employment in Canada or Bermuda

I am a Jamaican who resently finished my graduate degree in Sociology, my first degree is in Psychology. I am interested in working in a foreign country and have been considering working in Canada or Bermuda. I have a few friends who have told me that opportunities for employment may be easier to access in these countries.

I consider myself someone who is pretty much open to travelling to nearly anywhere in the world and hope to live abroad for a time. I figured one way to best do this to be gain employment in a foreign country. I am experienced in the areas of community development, design and implementation of social or educational programmes. Also, i have a keen interest in doing research. However, my interest are not limited to these area as i am sure i can apply myself to other areas. I do not know anyone in Canada or Bermuda, but hoped that perhaps someone could give me some pointers.
